South Africa: From Rainbow Nation to Woke Failed State
How the South Africa turned into a nightmare through Woke utopianism
In the 1970s and 1980s, South Africa was the holy grail of Western liberal opinion. Few would question that Apartheid was a moral obscenity. But South Africa served little more than a way for African nations to divert attention from atrocities against their own people, and for Western progressives to implement radical politics in their own societies.
Indeed it is hard not to think that South Africa was little more than a test run for what has been implemented in Western democracies: delegitimisation of European settlement and the nation-state, followed by dehumanisation. White South Africans have been delegitimised and dehumanised, and now this is being transferred to the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The emergence of Rhodes Must Fall and Black Lives Matter almost a decade ago was not a coincidence.
South Africa has become a failed state under a criminally incompetent ANC. The liberation movement for whom Nelson Mandela provided good PR has long been exposed as corrupt, power-hungry and racist. The EFF is but an offshoot of its policies and would readily qualify as a hate group.
Woke policies have been implemented with a view to punishing the white population of South Africa. The result has been catastrophic, as infrastructure built over decades to First World standards is being left to decay. The crime rate is stratospheric, and little is being done to stop the rapes, robberies and murders that are part of everyday life.
Postcolonial ideology has become part of political discourse in the Anglosphere since the 2020 riots in the USA. And what will the result be? We’ll all end up paying the price if we don’t stop it - NOW.
South Africa’s collapse will be even more catastrophic for Africa and the world, given its important commodities.
