South Africa: From Rainbow Nation to Woke Failed State
How the South Africa turned into a nightmare through Woke utopianism
In the 1970s and 1980s, South Africa was the holy grail of Western liberal opinion. Few would question that Apartheid was a moral obscenity. But South Africa served little more than a way for African nations to divert attention from atrocities against their own people, and for Western progressives to implement radical politics in their own societies.
Indeed it is hard not to think that South Africa was little more than a test run for what has been implemented in Western democracies: delegitimisation of European settlement and the nation-state, followed by dehumanisation. White South Africans have been delegitimised and dehumanised, and now this is being transferred to the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The emergence of Rhodes Must Fall and Black Lives Matter almost a decade ago was not a coincidence.
South Africa has become a failed state under a criminally incompetent ANC. The liberation movement for whom Nelson Mandela provided good PR has long been exposed as corrupt, power-hungry and racist. The EFF is but an offshoot of its policies and would readily qualify as a hate group.
Woke policies have been implemented with a view to punishing the white population of South Africa. The result has been catastrophic, as infrastructure built over decades to First World standards is being left to decay. The crime rate is stratospheric, and little is being done to stop the rapes, robberies and murders that are part of everyday life.
Postcolonial ideology has become part of political discourse in the Anglosphere since the 2020 riots in the USA. And what will the result be? We’ll all end up paying the price if we don’t stop it - NOW.
South Africa’s collapse will be even more catastrophic for Africa and the world, given its important commodities.
Anybody that thinks Australia is immune from a South African style political and cultural implosion is kidding themselves. The parallels, quite frankly, are frightening. We are already advancing down that path at an alarming rate, and marching at the head of the pack is Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese who, along with his woke neo-Marxist acolytes, is wilfully facilitating our nations demise. But it's 'only modest' of course — that's exactly what the Prime Minister is telling anyone who will listen, and the media are lapping it up.
To label these history making policy changes as 'modest' — including a change to the constitution that effectively redefines our bicameral political system in the most surreptitious way possible — is an insult to the Australian people.
Albanese is obsessed with polluting Australia with a permanent residue from his progressive style of politics, as if he is on some kind of Messianic quest. A career politician with delusions of grandeur, who believes he is creating a legacy that will place him among the luminaries of Australian politics.
In reality, his only achievements have been to dramatically accelerate the culture wars to a point where we are on the verge of tearing our nation apart, while concurrently allowing our economy to crumble around us. Probity be damned. Virtue signaling takes precedence over all other, and the people of Australia are going along for the ride.
As Mark Twain said: 'It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled.'
And oh, how we have been fooled.
