It’s not been a good week for the Globalist elite. In fact, it’s been the single worst week for them in the post-2020 period.
Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have lost what was long a safe Liberal seat in Toronto-St. Paul’s. The social and demographic profile of this electorate has long favoured them, but they too became disillusioned with Trudeau’s incompetent authoritarian rule. That a seat in the Greater Toronto Area fell to the Conservatives makes the Liberals shaky even in their strongest area. Not surprisingly, Trudeau is facing mounting pressure to resign, but it won’t change a thing - a landslide defeat is still on the cards.
Nobody should have been surprised by the “performance” of Joe Biden in the presidential debate. The media, of course, wanted you to believe that Biden is still fit for any kind of public office, but here he was shown not to be. While there is pressure for Biden to step aside and let someone else be the Democrat nominee, it’s not going to change the minds of voters much.
Morale in progressive circles has to be low at the moment in face of a backlash against what they’ve imposed on the West. How else do you explain, in an election year, left-wing media outlets and NGOs laying off staff? Perhaps they forecast a drop in income, donations or upcoming lawsuits? That they know the coming years won’t be favourable to them?
Let’s get it done and dusted in November. It will be sweet indeed.
