The treachery of Roya Hakakian and Masih Alinejad
Who is trying to derail the Iranian national uprising?
Don’t say we didn’t tell you this before. When the current protest movement in Iran began in 2018, now a full-fledged national uprising against the regime, we suddenly saw a certain Masih Alinejad put herself out there as the suppose voice of the Iranian people fighting the regime. Except that she isn’t.
Because everything concerning Masih Alinejad is about herself. People I follow have noticed that from the start. She is a narcissist and opportunist, pure and simple, taking advantage of Iranian people’s struggle to draw attention to herself. And she’s not alone.
In the above video, part of a SVT (Swedish TV) program, Masih and Roya Hakakian reveal how self-absorbed and narcissistic they truly are. Hakakian is one of numerous people who blocked me on Twitter for daring to expose her, especially her support of divisive identity politics in Iran. To top it all off, Masih endorses this too. Both people demonstrate a decided lack of patriotism, but we always knew that.
These and other grifters, hungry for attention and money, have worked to hijack Iran’s national struggle in their own self-interest. They have downplayed the popularity of Reza Pahlavi and the fact Iranians prefer a constitutional monarchy out of all systems. They also ignore legitimate patriotic activists and groups who do a tremendous amount of work without expecting money or paying people to support them.
None of Masih Alinejad, Hamed Esmaeilion or Roya Hakakian are remotely fit to represent Iranian people. They have no patriotism, no attachment to the concept of nationhood, and no desire to let anyone other than themselves grab attention for their work. They are not fit to ever be part of any opposition coalition, let alone govern Iran after the regime is gone.
When Eastern Europeans struggled against Communism, we didn’t have to deal with garbage like this. And it makes you wonder why this is a problem where the Iranian struggle is concerned. Who is trying to benefit, and who is afraid of the revival of the Iranian nation under Pahlavi leadership?
Well said!👏
