I was going to cover certain recent events, but believe I should not give the culprits any more attention than has already been given to them on social media. It is a waste of everyone’s time.
What I will focus on however is a field guide for Iranians to build alliances in America, Europe and elsewhere, which will be updatable as I see fit. It is about the need to build alliances with people on common ground, linking their interests with those of Iranians. In particular, what is needed is to target not just the regime lobby but the entire political, social and cultural ecosystem which nurtures and permits the regime lobby to flourish.
United States
This is very simple. Iranian patriots on American soil need to cultivate relationships not only with the 2024 Republican candidates’ teams, but the people and groups who make up the base. To do this should not be difficult when there is much common ground to begin with.
This is because the regime’s lobby in America, NIAC, is very much part of the radical Left. It is allied with CAIR, which has worked with the SPLC (which profits from the smearing of conservatives), who in turn has links to Antifa. Also part of this web is the DSA and a host of assorted leftist NGOs who share numerous connections (and in some cases personnel going from one group to another).
Reaching out to conservative groups targeted by the this network or fighting against them thus makes perfect sense. They can also link to the powerful religious wing of the Republican Party who are the most vocal on foreign policy issues - and hold the key to the 2024 nomination.
Freedom of religion is an essential topic to bring in Christian and Jewish (as well as Arab) support for the revolution.
Canada
Justin Trudeau’s government is deeply compromised on foreign policy and national security issues, including on Iran. This offers the chance for Iranian patriots in Canada to forge strong links with conservatives, especially under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre and Melissa Lantsman, who are a distinct improvement on the likes of Stephen Harper and John Baird.
Europe
Iranian patriots in Europe, who hold regular demonstrations, can link up with European patriotic parties, especially those in the ECR Group which contains the ruling parties of the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy, as well as patriotic parties in Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
An alliance between European and Iranian patriots will counter the European Left, Islamists and the disinformation networks of Russia and the Islamic Republic. It can also help patriotic forces in Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and countries currently occupied by Russia.
In addition, Iranians in Europe must address the concerns of national security, migration and energy security in conversations with European politicians.
Building Blocks
It is long overdue for Iranian patriots to consolidate in support of a vision for the country based on Iranism, Pahlavism and constitutionalism. Building alliances with your natural allies, like-minded patriots is the only safe and sure path.
